Basement Remodeling
Additional Space
- Gain additional living space within existing footprint of your home. Save building costs on excavation, foundation, framing, siding, roofing, etc.

Waterproofing
- Most common source of water infiltration is from gutters either overflowing or not directing water away from foundation.
- Essential to keep gutters cleaned out.
- Drywells can be added to yard. This may also entitle you to rebates on your sewer bill.
- Multiple waterproofing options available including exterior and interior foundation membranes, French drains, sump pumps, ventilation, etc. We can help you determine which option or combination of options works best for your home and budget.
- We also highly recommend the installation of a dehumidifier to help maintain a healthy moisture level. We can plumb in a dehumidifier which will automatically drain without the need to empty the bucket.
Egress
- If you add a bedroom in the basement you need to have a sufficiently sized egress window, which is large than most existing basement windows.
- We can facilitate cutting the foundation, excavating and pouring a window well.
- This also let's a lot more light into the basement, making for a more welcoming and enjoyable space.
Finishes
- Basements can be finished using the same materials as above grade spaces, although depending on the level of waterproofing installed, care should be taken to choose finishes that are more tolerant of moisture.
- Popular floor finishes include carpet, laminate flooring or refinished concrete.
